About the Role:

In this role, you will operate, control, and monitor vital process control systems in various settings, including plant environments, onshore and offshore natural gas processing facilities, pumping stations, distribution terminals, storage, and offshore production facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate and monitor process control systems in diverse environments such as natural gas processing facilities and pipeline facilities.

- Work independently on standard assignments, with the potential to assist in more complex tasks under the guidance of a Coordinator/Supervisor.

- Ensure all pertinent records are accurate and current, and that preventative maintenance schedules are timely.

- Participate in design reviews and learn the operation of more complex equipment and procedures.

- Demonstrate a detailed understanding of Safety Policies and Procedures, acting in accordance with them at all times.

- Provide basic guidance to contractors or less experienced employees as needed.

Qualifications:

- High School Diploma required.

- Typically 2 years of directly relevant training and experience.

- 0-3 years of experience in operating process control systems.

- Completed all core technical training requirements.

- In the United States, completed all applicable Operator Qualification (OQ) requirements.

- For employees under a formal apprenticeship program, this represents apprentice levels 2 to 4.

Skills and Competencies:

- Sound technical understanding of basic or routine elements of the job.

- Ability to work with significant independence and demonstrate judgment in assessing safe work conditions.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to relay basic facts and increase complexity as tasks become more challenging.
