Position Overview :

Are you passionate about maintaining and repairing the heavy equipment that powers industries and shapes the landscapes where we work? We are hiring skilled Field Mechanics to join our Field Service Team. This role is responsible for ensuring the performance, safety, and longevity of a wide range of heavy equipment, including rock drills, rock crushers, excavators, and haul trucks. This position offers the opportunity to take your expertise directly to job sites, work independently in the field, and collaborate with a team of experienced professionals dedicated to high-quality service and continuous improvement. Shift:

Friday - Sunday, 12-hour shifts. Benefit from four consecutive days off each week, providing a flexible schedule for personal commitments. Additionally, we offer $10.00 per hour differential pay for weekend work (Saturdays and Sundays).


Compensation:

Wage Range: :$30-$45/hour depending on experience and technical expertise.
Weekend Differential: :Additional $10.00/hour for work performed on Saturdays and Sundays.
Overtime: :Offered when work is available.
Per diem: :$40.00 per day when staying at a company paid lodging accomodations.

Job Requirements/ Qualifications:

Experience: 4 years of directly related experience in heavy equipment repair, preferably in a heavy industrial environment with or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Education: :Associates Degree from a fully accredited college or technical/vocational school in Diesel Technology or other closely related field preferred.
Drug Test and Physical Requirement: Pre-employment drug test and physical required. We conduct random drug tests and post-accident drug testing. For safety reasons, we have a zero-tolerance drug policy, including marijuana use.

Job Responsibilities:

Field Service: Travels to customer sites to perform maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment in the field.
Customer Communication: Interacts professionally with customers and support personnel to troubleshoot and address repair needs.
Diagnostics: Analyzes and diagnoses mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic system issues
Repairs & Rebuilds: Performs repair or replacement of components including engines, transmissions, final drives, hydraulic pumps, motors, valves, and related systems.
Documentation: :Writes detailed service reports and completes work orders, parts lists, and timecards accurately and promptly.
Technology Use: Utilizes service software and tools as required for diagnostics and reporting
Vehicle Care: :Maintains a clean, professional company service vehicle in good working condition
Procedural Compliance: :Follows manufacturer and company service guidelines and procedures to ensure quality work and to preserve and document component failure information for accurate failure analysis.
Additional Duties: Performs a range of duties to support field maintenance and repair operations as needed.

Laptop :We provide Field Mechanics with a company laptop that can be used for diagnostics.
iPhone :We provide Field Mechanics with iPhones or a monthly cell phone allowance for phone calls, emails, text messaging and mobile time keeping.
Tool Allowance :We provide Field Mechanics with a tool allowance of $75 per month.
Fuel Card & Credit Card: We provide Field Mechanics with fuel cards and credit cards to charge company expenses.

Health Insurance: We offer health insurance at a cost of $59/month for the employee portion of the basic plan. We also offer buy up plan options that have lower deductibles.
