Field Machine/Equipment Mechanic

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic that is bilingual in spanish/english to join our team, and work onsite along with our fiber optic construction crew. The ideal candidate will have expertise in heavy diesel machinery, mechanical knowledge and hydraulics. Ditch Witch, Vermeer, and Diesel trucks

Responsibilities:

- Perform maintenance and repairs on various machinery and equipment

- Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform necessary repairs while on the field

- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems

- Prioritize repairs to be able to continue working

- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns promptly

Skills:

- Proficiency in hydraulics and mechanical systems

- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to analyze technical issues

- Fluency in English for effective communication

- Experience as a diesel mechanic
