About being our Field Land Surveyor / Rodman

A Field Land Surveyor / Rodman is an entry-level position for a career in land surveying. Nationwide, land surveyors are in short supply and high demand. They specialize in land measurements, infrastructure staking, residential staking, topographic mapping, creation and management of precise coordinate systems and much more. As the land surveyor's career progresses, he/she is encouraged to obtain a state license, which authorizes the licensee to perform boundary surveys, using history, technology, and an arsenal of resources available to the public.
