We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Field Inspectors to join our team at K&A Engineering in San Jose or Modesto, California areas. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting and challenging projects that make a real impact in the energy and utility sectors. - Perform field data collection associated with electric power lines
- Conduct field measurements and/or field data survey to produce plans for engineering design
- Read and Interpret construction print and perform red lining
- Prepare work orders and materials specifications
- Pull data from SAP, Smart Map, and other GIS systems
- Experience working in all weather conditions, heat, snow, rain, wind
- Comfortable interacting with customers
- Good customer Service
- Comfortable walking long distances on foot
- Computer Knowledgeable - must be able to update or extract information from computerized system.
- Experience work as a field inspector on Distribution or Transmission System
- Actively ensure compliance with safety regulations and identifying potential hazards to mitigate risks and maintain a safe working environment
- HS Diploma required
- Experience in field work with construction and/or electric utility company
- Prior experience as a Field Inspector is preferred
- Ability to accurately collect and document data
- Must have current US Work authorization and a valid US Driver License in good standing
- Must be able to travel daily to different sites for Field Inspection services
