Field Engineer

Founded in 1979, BAR Constructors Inc. is located in Lancaster, TX and focuses on heavy construction in water/sewer/utility construction. We are a $70M company that operates 8-10 job sites at any particular time. We perform earthwork, concrete structures, yard piping, exposed/process piping, and water processing/transport equipment installation work. We are looking for an organized and efficient individual to assist with field-related clerical duties at our Athens, TX, area pipeline work.

Responsibilities

- Clerical work with field tasks including: field layout, delivery coordination, operational assistance

- Duties include: logging receipts, ticket collection, material logging, and matching necessary paperwork with invoices into the PM system

- Commuting or relocating to Athens, TX and surrounding area

- Adhering to all safety protocols of hard hat, outside, terrain field work

Qualifications

- Proficient in Microsoft software elements

- Able to learn surveying equipment and associated tasks

- Able to learn Accounting/Project Management software

- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently
