Oncor Electric Delivery Company LLC, headquartered in Dallas, is a regulated electricity transmission and distribution business that uses superior asset management skills to provide reliable electricity delivery to consumers. Oncor (together with its subsidiaries) operates the largest transmission and distribution system in Texas, delivering power to nearly 4 million homes and businesses and operating more than 143,000 miles of transmission and distribution lines in Texas.
Summary
Under the purview of the Transmission Construction Manager, the Field Construction Coordinator Sr. (FCC Sr.) manages the assignments, efforts, schedules, and overtime of multiple contractor Field Construction Coordinators (FCC).
The Transmission FCC Sr. serves as the single point of contact on all Transmission construction projects, providing general and specific project information to stakeholders. The Transmission FCC Sr. serves as the experience base for all contractor FCC’s and must therefore have a strong knowledge of construction standards, design specifications, and methodology. The FCC Sr.’s experience base and job knowledge is the primary source for construction improvement recommendations.
The FCC Sr. does not have on-site supervision and must be able to work safely under physical, mental, and environmentally demanding and potentially hazardous conditions. During system emergencies, the FCC Sr. will be called on to make extemporaneous decisions concerning the most efficient and effective way to organize contractors, materials and clearances to restore service to the Transmission grid.
