Field Assistant - Red Deer

We are currently seeking team members for a full time Field Assistants based out of our Blackfalds (Red Deer) location. These positions are field based, involving approximately 20 days a month travelling to work sites throughout Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Northern British Columbia to perform gas well testing duties. ABOUT YOU

- Field Assistants do not require any experience in the oil & gas industry or Well Testing

- Reside in the Red Deer area (within 30 minutes of our shop)

- Required certifications; Standard First Aid, H2S Alive, CSO training from Energy Safety Canada

- Pre-employment Drug & Alcohol screens are required for all Safety Sensitive Positions

MAJOR ROLES & RESPONSIBLITIES

- Aiding in the rig in and out of the equipment associated with the job

- General maintenance and servicing all well testing equipment, with direction from Supervisor

- Perform accurate readings of gauges and monitors during shift

- Working knowledge of rules and regulations provided by governing regulatory bodies and the willingness to ask questions if things are unclear

- Adherence to Colter safety guidelines, policies and procedures

- Able to work away from home and necessary hours that can exceed 12 per shift

- Able and willing to follow direction for assigned duties from Field Supervisors and Management

Day rates start at $ 300, plus subsistence
