Fibre Yard Supervisor

Salary Range: $95,000 to $105,000

Location: Meadowbank, BC

As a Fibre Yard Supervisor at Drax, you are responsible for the overall Safety, compliance, production, and cost control of all incoming fibre deliveries as well as managing the fibre flow to the plant. Fibre flow is a critical part of our business, and fibre management is our highest cost. Responsible for running the fibre plan spreadsheet and operationalizing the fibre production plan onsite, working together with the Plant Manager to build the production plan. About the role:

Team & Leadership* Direct the day-to-day performance of 12 direct reports in the Yard and Quality Control positions.

Safety* Ensure safe daily operations of the fiber yard by hosting daily tailgate meetings and weekly toolbox talks for staff.

Operations* Manage incoming deliveries and fiber flow into the plant, ensuring safe operations and quality pellet production.

You’ll possess the following skills, abilities and Experience required:* Completion of high school education; related post-secondary education is a plus.
