FIBER SPLICER

We’re seeking a skilled Fiber Splicer to join our team working in and around Colorado Springs. In this hands-on role, you’ll perform fiber splicing, testing, and analysis on new and active networks. This role also supports network planning, scheduling, and assists with construction activities leading up to splicing and closeout. This role does require some travel.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

+ Standing or walking for long periods of time + Repeatedly lifting heavy loads (up to 50 lbs.) + Other repetitive movements, such as kneeling, crawling, climbing, and reaching + Manual dexterity + Work in confined or elevated spaces + Enter, maintain, and exit splice enclosures safely + Enter manholes and aerial locations to retrieve splice enclosures + Perform splicing in both indoor and outdoor environments under various weather conditions
