Job Overview

Ontario Power Generation (OPG) is looking for a dynamic, strategic and results-driven professionals to join our team in the role of Fall 2025 Co-Op Student to start in September 2025.

We are looking for students enrolled in any of the programs below:

Business Administration/Commerce

Finance & Accounting

Actuarial Sciences

•

Economics

Human Resources

Graphics/Visual Design

Training, Education & e-Learning

Key Accountabilities

•

Contribute to projects aligned with your field and career interests, applying classroom knowledge to practical assignments.

•

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.

•

Learn and adapt to new tools, technologies, and processes relevant to the industry.

•

Take ownership of tasks, support daily operations, and seek mentorship for professional growth.

Qualifications

•

Currently enrolled as a full-time student at a recognized university majoring in one of the following disciplines:

•

Nuclear Engineering

•

Business Administration/Commerce

•

Finance & Accounting

•

Actuarial Sciences

•

Economics

•

Human Resources

•

Graphics/Visual Design

•

Training, Education & e-Learning

•

Completed at least one year of undergraduate studies (university) by the start of the work term.

•

Returning to full-time studies after the work term or require the placement to graduate.

•

Minimum cumulative GPA of 70% (transcript required).

OPG will be relocating our Corporate Headquarters (CHQ) to the Durham Region. As a result, if your business unit is impacted, your base location of employment will be 1908 Colonel Sam Drive, Building Code O11 starting in Summer 2025, but you will report to the Work Location listed in your offer letter until the relocation. If you are impacted by this change, we will provide you with further instructions about the move closer to this date.
