Position Concept
This position is responsible for assisting the Solar department in the daily operation and maintenance activities for the solar and energy storge sites and support the engineering team in tracking of effective inspection, monitoring, environmental compliance, and preventative maintenance programs.
Accountabilities
As a successful candidate for our Co-Op/Alternate—Solar & Energy Storage Engineering, you would perform the following.
Education/Certification/GPA
The successful applicant should be in their second, third, or fourth year of an ABET-accredited university or college, undergraduate- or a graduate-level, post-secondary educational program in an engineer discipline. To qualify as a co-op student, enrollment in the university’s co-op program is required.

Working Conditions
The Solar & Energy Storage Engineering Co-Op can expect to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Working conditions are both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. The level of stress varies depending on workload and company deadlines.
Physical Demands Requirement
Must be able to work in dusty and hot environments. Must be able to ascend and descend from ladders and stairs. Walking (sometimes on uneven surfaces), bending, and driving as needed.
