Title: FALL 2025 - Photography & Video Student Internship/Co-Op Company: Tampa Electric Company State and City: Florida - Tampa Shift: Mon – Fri, 20-40 hours, varies on location and/or role

The TECO Energy Internship & Cooperative Education Program offers college degree-seeking students the opportunity for professional growth while meeting the business needs of the company. The program is an extension of the educational process, providing practical experience to complement formal classroom work. The co-op program recruits students from colleges to give them an opportunity to work in a professional environment related to their field of study.

Position Summary/Details:

Visual media-minded student will hone his/her skills, learn to work with a wide variety of media equipment, work as part of a creative team, and expand professional portfolios. The student provides in-house videography and photography services. Additionally, this position will provide feedback on strategy requiring graphic, online and social media needs requiring videography and photography solutions.

Physical Location of Co-op: TECO HQ: Specific Work Location Will Be Confirmed Prior to Starting

Preferred Availability: Part – Time (20-30 hours)

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

The successful applicant should be enrolled in an ABET accredited university as a college undergraduate or a graduate level post-secondary educational program in a related discipline.

Co-Op Requirements:

To qualify as a co-op student, enrollment in the university’s co-op program (proof of enrollment required); if not eligible for co-op program (or program unavailable), the student will be considered an intern.* A minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale is required.*

Required Degree: Mass Communications or Fine Arts

Preferred/Related Discipline: Digital Design/ Videography/ Journalism

Year in School: Junior or Senior or Graduate Student
