We’re looking for a dependable Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team and help maintain the safety, function, and appearance of our industrial facility. From mechanical repairs and minor electrical work to general upkeep, this role is perfect for someone who takes pride in tackling a wide variety of maintenance challenges. •This is a first shift role working at our facility in Hatfield, PA. The hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30AM – 4:00PM.
Responsibilities
•Troubleshoot and repair mechanical components such as pumps, plumbing systems, compressed air lines, and utility fixtures.
•Perform general maintenance tasks including painting, flooring, basic carpentry, office setups, and equipment relocations.
•Complete minor electrical work, including replacing switches, bulbs, outlets, lighting fixtures, and making low voltage wiring repairs.
•Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency issues, prioritizing tasks to minimize disruption to operations.
•Perform light custodial tasks as needed, such as refilling soap and paper towels when cleaning staff are unavailable.
•Support equipment installations, relocations, and special project work in coordination with internal teams and external vendors.
•Maintain accurate records of work performed using the company’s digital maintenance management system (CMMS).
•Keep maintenance areas and assigned work zones clean, organized, and compliant with all safety standards.
•Ensure all work is performed in alignment with OSHA safety requirements and company policies
•Willingness to support occasional emergency facility needs during after-hours, weekends, or on-call situations.
•Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Qualifications
•High school diploma or GED equivalent.
•3+ years of experience in facility or industrial maintenance.
•Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in general repair work.
•Working knowledge of basic electrical systems and building maintenance best practices.
•Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and maintenance documentation.
•Working knowledge of Microsoft Office; experience with work order software a plus.
•Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
•Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
This position requires use of information or access to processes subject to national security controls under U.S. export laws including but not limited to International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
