FACILITIES SUPERVISOR

Position Summary: Under the general direction of the Director of Operations, performs difficult to complex technical and administrative work in coordinating the maintenance, preservation, and safe operation of all pumping stations, lift stations, and Administration/Operations Center building and grounds including all rental property. Supervision is exercised over pump station and facilities maintenance personnel. Employee must be available to respond to emergency incidents when requested.

Duties Include: Plans, directs, and evaluates comprehensive facilities program for all buildings and grounds; Plans, schedules, supervises, and inspects the work of all employees engaged in the repair, maintenance and installation of pumps, electrical controls, equipment and structural improvements of ACSA properties, and mowing and landscaping of all ACSA properties; Performs periodic inspections of all buildings and grounds to ensure safety, timely repair, preventative maintenance, and energy conservation; Maintains inventory of building and remote property keys and distributes as required; Oversees outside vendor contracts such as landscaping, janitorial, pest control, elevator maintenance and HVAC; Facilitates emergency snow removal and other storm related emergencies; Assist Director of Operations in developing annual budget for Maintenance department; Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma, or equivalent, and five or more years of job-related experience; Commonwealth of Virginia Driver's License with a Class A and Tankers Endorsement. Virginia Flaggers Certification, Valid Class 5 Water License or greater. Class A and B UST Operator License, 16-Hour Asbestos Worker Certification, 30-Hour OSHA Certification, Confined Space Supervisor, Intermediate Work Zone Certification, NIMMS Training, First Aid/CPR/AED Certification, Forklift Certification; Comprehensive knowledge of construction, maintenance and repair of structures, mechanical equipment, motors and electronic equipment, the use and care of electrical test meters, hazards related to the electrical and construction field and safety practices and the water and sewer systems.

Hiring Range $90,746 - $108,895
