Join our manufacturing team as a Facilities and Refining Technician, where you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our refining facilities. You will be an integral member of our Facilities and Maintenance team and will assist with minor repairs, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations, ensuring that our facility operates at peak efficiency, minimizing downtime and maximizing production.

Day shift Monday - Fridays only, no nights or weekends
- 1+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Basic computer skills and able to accurately enter data into Excel
- Ability to read and interpret technical instructions and effectively communicate information to other employees
- High level of attention to detail
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Segregate trash, floor sweeps, machine turnings, etc. and place in appropriate receptacles
- Incinerate material after segregation
- Pour molten metals into billet molds
- Keep incinerator room clean and organized
- Run refining processing and analysis equipment as needed
- Log and maintain accurate records of all weights and melts
- Perform required EHS inspections and tasks
- Serve as member of the Safety Committee
- Assist Maintenance Technicians as needed with minor repairs and maintenance-related tasks
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
Physical and work condition demands of the position:
- Able to walk and stand the throughout the shift
- Able to reach and lift material
- Able to push and pull cart full of materials
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds, and transport full 55-gallon drums via manually operated drum dolly equipment
- Able to wear required PPE at all times with no restrictions
