Fabrication Finishing Operator - 2nd Shift

The Fabrication Finishing Operator include the following: (Other duties may be assigned, including but not limited to cross training and housekeeping. Responsibilities also include attention to safety according to all safety rules.)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. High school diploma or GED, or six months to one year experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively with supervisors and other employees.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Must be able to operate computer-controlled painting and taping equipment, including reading and interpreting console indicators and gauges, and ability to operate hand blasting, taping and painting tools.
