Check packages for uniformity: color consistency, tight vs. loose winding, appropriate tack levels, etc.

Tie each package and cut excess tail lengths to between 6-10 inches.

Continually perform visual checks for crossed filaments at the finish application area, draw rolls and texturing areas.

Restring breakouts in a timely manner.
•
Ensure all packaging is packed with the correct label and correct position number on the machine.
•
Make yarn wraps on a wrap card at the start of each stretch wrap. On the backside of the card, the operator must place a tube label on each wrap and write down the time the wrap is taken on the tube label.
