Experienced Plumber

We're looking for a competent service plumber with a can-do attitude to be a part of our team at Reliable Plumbing. Plumber must be willing to work between 40-50 hours per week and be on-call for up to one week out of each month. Pay is decided based on experience level and ability. Plumbers are required to supply their own hand tools.

Essential Duties:

Install and maintain all plumbing systems, fixtures, pipes and supports using approved work orders.

Install and maintain lavatories, toilets, urinals, sinks, tubs, showers and water heaters.

Install and maintain dishwashers and other kitchen equipment that incorporate gas or water consumption

Install and repair sanitary sewer systems and potable water systems

Inspect and troubleshoot plumbing systems to identify repairs needed.

Receive, review and complete all approved work orders

Practice on the job safety by following established safety procedures and techniques

Maintain inventory of company tools, equipment and materials

Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure they are kept in a safe and in operational condition

Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations

Be able to test all plumbing systems per job requirements

Perform inspections upon job completion to ensure areas are clean and all equipment is accounted for

Maintain accurate records on material and labor used

Create accurate time and material estimates for the customer, based on the job type and items that will be needed to complete it

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge of testing plumbing systems, repairs, maintenance, and installation techniques

Knowledge of basic safety, ADA Requirements, and state and local building/plumbing codes

Ability to read and comprehend design drawings, blueprints, and written reference material

Ability to install PVC, no-hub, service weight, copper sweat, copper pro press systems, and pex pipe systems

Ability to use and operate plumbing equipment and power tools

Basic computer skills

Ability to effectively communicate

Able to work independently and in a team environment

Minimum Qualifications:

Plumber’s license preferred

2 years in residential plumbing repair preferred but not required

1 year in commercial plumbing repair preferred

High school diploma or equivalent

Valid ID/Driver’s License
