Experienced Metal Bandsaw/Hem saw Operator

We are currently looking for a experienced metal bandsaw/hem saw operator to join our team. As a saw operator, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process by operating saw equipment to cut various materials according to specifications. Your precision and attention to detail will be vital in ensuring the quality of our products

Duties for experienced metal Bandsaw/Hem saw operator

- Set up the saw, adjusting for each job

- Set stops or guides to specified lengths

- Operate the saw machine, keeping an eye out for any defects or material issues.

- Know how to read a tape measure and calipers.

- Help pack and transport finished pieces

- Accurately complete paperwork

- Keeping cut parts accurately marked and sorted by job.

- Know the differences in material and material thicknesses

Requirements and Qualifications

- High school diploma or GED certificate

- Experience operating a saw (1-3 years required)

- Forklift experience a plus

- Basic math skills

- Ability to lift to 50-70 lbs.

- Attention to detail

Shift: Mon. -Thur. 6am to 4:30pm
