Pay: $25+/hr. (7 years + experience with major telecom required (AT&T preferred)

About the Role: Master Line Locator

We’re looking for 7 years+ Major Telcom experienced underground Utility Line Locators to join our growing Alabama operations. As a LineQuest technician, you’ll work independently in the field using state-of-the-art ticketing and claim management tools — all while driving a company-provided vehicle.

You’ll be responsible for accurately locating and marking underground telecom utilities, documenting your work through photos, and updating ticket information within our digital platform.

What You'll Do

Complete all assigned 811 One-Call locate tickets on time

Locate, mark, and document underground utilities (telecom, electric, gas, water, sewer)

Walk 3–5 miles/day carrying locating equipment, as needed

Accurately photograph and report all locate work

Communicate field issues to your supervisor

Adapt to field conditions and learn new technology as regulations evolve

Requirements

Minimum 7+ years of Major Telecom locating experience (AT&T preferred)

Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record

Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug screenings

Strong safety, quality, and efficiency mindset

Good communication, time management, and problem-solving skills

Willingness to work in outdoor weather conditions and wear required PPE
