To meet the increasing demand for construction services, we are seeking an experienced Lead Carpenter to join our accomplished and hardworking team.
This role requires a skilled professional who can work in diverse settings to produce exceptional results while also managing multiple projects and crews. The ideal candidate is not only an expert in carpentry but also a confident leader with excellent communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to supervise teams and subcontractors effectively.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
•Understand and meet customer requirements
•Manage multiple active projects and oversee site crews and subcontractors
•Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to fully grasp project scope
•Take accurate measurements and calculate required materials
•Cut, shape, and smooth lumber and other materials to spec
•Construct framing, staircases, and other structural elements
•Install window frames, doors, baseboards, and trim
•Lay flooring, roofing, or drywall to level and compatibility
•Install cabinetry, shelving, and other built-ins
•Conduct property inspections and perform repair/maintenance work
•Respond to and execute change orders
•Perform light work in other trades (electrical, plumbing, tile, granite, painting, etc.)
•Collaborate with subcontractors
•Recommend job improvements and alternative methods as needed
•Ensure compliance with building codes, OSHA, and job site safety
•Maintain job site cleanliness, order, and professionalism
Skills & Requirements:
•Proven experience as a Lead Carpenter or equivalent
•Strong leadership and project management capabilities
•Hands-on experience in both rough and finish carpentry
•Ability to manage multiple job sites and team members simultaneously
•Proficiency with power and hand tools
•Strong blueprint reading and technical drawing interpretation skills
•Familiarity with construction math and material calculations
•Knowledge of job site safety regulations and best practices
•Excellent communication and time management skills
•Must have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, clean driving record, cell phone, and basic tools

Work Schedule:
•Typical hours: 7.30 AM – 5.30 PM
•(Some flexibility depending on project needs)

Pay: $40.00 - $48.00 per hour
