We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of electrical systems in accordance with national and local electrical codes. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical theory, system layouts, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
•Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems and components including wiring, conduits, lighting, power distribution, and motor controls.
•Interpret and work from electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to accurately plan and execute electrical installations.
•Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults and malfunctions using systematic testing methods and equipment.
•Perform wiring tasks involving conduit, cables, and raceways, ensuring compliance with code and proper protection of electrical circuits.
•Adhere to all safety regulations, company policies, and OSHA standards to maintain a safe and hazard-free work environment.
•Install, maintain, and troubleshoot motor control systems including starters, contactors, and variable frequency drives.
•Work with power distribution systems including panelboards, circuit breakers, transformers, and perform load calculations.
•Install and maintain various lighting systems, including energy-efficient lighting and lighting control systems.
•Use electrical testing tools (e.g., multimeters, megohmmeters, circuit testers) to verify functionality and ensure the integrity of installed systems.
Qualifications:
•Valid Journeyman Electrician license or certification (preferred).
•High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited electrical apprenticeship program preferred.
•Minimum of 4-6 years of verifiable experience in commercial, industrial, or residential electrical work.
•Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local electrical codes.
•Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
•Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments including heights, confined spaces, and outdoors.
•Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
•Effective communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with coworkers, contractors, and clients.
