We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Commercial Business Analyst to support front-office functions with a deep focus on deal modeling within the Endur ETRM platform. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in structuring, valuing, and managing natural gas trades, and will serve as a critical link between commercial stakeholders and technical delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities
•Serve as a lead business analyst supporting front-office users on the Endur platform
•Develop, configure, and validate complex deal models across physical and financial natural gas products
•Gather and refine business requirements from traders, marketers, and commercial operations
•Translate commercial needs into functional specifications and work with developers to ensure accurate implementation
•Test and validate front-office enhancements including pricing models, trade entry screens, and P&L outputs
•Provide support and guidance during UAT, go-live, and post-deployment phases
•Ensure trade capture accuracy and that all relevant pricing components are represented correctly in Endur
•Assist with troubleshooting issues in real-time and provide end-user training as needed
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Risk, Accounting, Scheduling, and IT
Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree a plus
•6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in energy trading environments
•Strong functional knowledge of Endur (OpenLink) with direct experience supporting front-office workflows
•Deep understanding of natural gas markets, including basis, transport, storage, and structured products
•Hands-on experience building and validating trade models and pricing logic
•Familiarity with Endur components such as JVS, AVS, TPM, Connex, or OpenComponents
•Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills; able to dissect and interpret complex trade structures
•Comfortable working in high-pressure trading environments with fast-changing priorities
•Effective communicator who can bridge commercial and technical teams
