Estimators will be tasked with qualitative and quantitative estimating on Wall Protection and Wall Panel Scopes, mainly in the industry Healthcare, Higher Education, Large Scale Hospitality, Research, and Bio-Pharma sectors.
· Submits proposals to General Contractors (GCs) through MS Outlook and other online portals and Building Connected.
· Maintains accurate data by logging bid details accurately
· Scan documents and keep the electronic folder up to date pertaining to a specific job.
· MS Word (using keyboard shortcuts, print-to-pdf, etc.)
· Web applications; ability to intuitively navigate many websites, webmail, and other apps
· Investigations completed, providing recommendations on, processing and technical issues.
· Ensure changes are implemented and appropriate personnel trained.
· Where required, act as a liaison to other departments and customers.
· Assist with ensuring the relevant Quality System is up to date and reflects current practices. Ensure the quality of project information is accurate.
· Apply relevant processes to ensure standard procedures are followed.
· Maintaining and using correct Change Order Rates when providing to customers.
· Processes and procedures are streamlined for efficiency and consistency
· Safe and healthy work practices are to be maintained at all times in the warehouses.
· Any unsafe practice is to be reported immediately, hazards identified, and resolutions assigned performed when required.
· Must show a commitment to accurate reporting and recording of workplace accidents and injuries.

· Minimal accidents occur, hazards are identified and corrective action is taken within work area as per the requirements and obligations under law.

· The position requires flexibility in terms of working hours and the nature of the work. Other duties are required to be carried out as requested.
· Because the position has a range of responsibilities, frequent conflicting requests and initiatives will occur. It is essential that the incumbent is able to deal with these according to agreed priorities and service levels; and alert their Manager promptly where conflicting priorities are unable to be resolved.
· The position may require travel and contact with customers and suppliers. The incumbent must demonstrate the capacity to effectively represent the company in terms of presentation and the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people.
· Ability to communicate, with and acquire respect from a wide range of people, including but not limited to; Health and Safety Committee Members, Finance Team, Warehouse Team, Project Management Team, Suppliers and the Miller Group leadership team.
