Estimator

Final salary will be based on background and experience

Responsibilities include:

· Finding potential bid opportunities on various computer based subscription sites

· Estimate project material requirements from drawings and specifications

· Estimate project resource requirements from drawings and specifications

· Project Estimate with proposals in order to meet given deadlines

· Project submittals and RFI’s

· Communicate with vendors, suppliers, and customers as required

Skills:

· Organized

· Good writing and communication skills

· Ability to perform tasks within given schedules and deadlines

· Strong time management skills

· Previous estimating experience preferred, but not required

· Construction experience preferred, but not required

· Experience reading plans preferred, but not required

· Multi-tasking abilities

· Good negotiating skills

· Semi-demanding but patient (strong willed)

· Task completion oriented

· Excellent computer skills (Excel, Word, Web, etc.)

· Mature personality

Summary

As an Estimator, you will be responsible for analyzing project costs and preparing accurate estimates to support the construction process. Reporting to the Project Manager, your core skills in manufacturing, supply chain, and production planning will be essential in developing comprehensive cost assessments. Your premium skills in supply chain management and ERP systems will enhance efficiency, while your relevant skills in inventory management and forecasting will ensure precise resource allocation. Strong communication, negotiation, and time management abilities will be vital as you collaborate with various stakeholders to drive project success.
