What We're looking for from you - If this describes you, we'd love to meet!

- 1 to 3 years of construction, fabrication, or engineering-related experience, preferably within the oil and gas or industrial sectors

- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment used in oil and gas projects

- Familiarity with estimation software and tools (e.g., Bluebeam, MS Office, Google Sheets) is a plus or willingness to learn

- Strong numerical, organizational, and communication skills

- Ability to handle multiple tasks and assist with data gathering and estimate compilation

- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality

- Desire to learn from and collaborate with senior estimators and project teams

- Certification or training in construction, engineering, or estimation is an asset but not required

Duties:

- Assist in reviewing client RFP documents and project scope under supervision

- Support the collection of quantity takeoffs, subcontractor quotes, and labor/equipment data

- Prepare preliminary cost estimates and budgets for projects, typically in the $100,000 to $5 million range

- Help review proposals and tender documents for completeness and accuracy

- Coordinate with other team members to gather necessary information for bids

- Collaborate with the estimating team to support timely and competitive proposal submissions

- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and company processes

- Assist in administrative tasks related to estimating and bid management

- Participate in internal meetings and learning opportunities to develop estimating skills
