Job Summary JOB DESCRIPTION
The ERP Systems Administrator plays a critical role in managing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications, encompassing security administration and both technical and functional responsibilities.
In this position, the individual will collaborate closely with business stakeholders and functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. They will design, develop, and implement solutions within the ERP software environment while ensuring accuracy through technical design documentation and unit testing. Additionally, this role involves providing customer support, troubleshooting and resolving both functional and technical issues, and fostering strong relationships to enhance user experience and system efficiency.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Administers security, provides functional support, and assists with development for ITC’s ERP systems, with a primary focus on PeopleSoft Financials, Supply Chain modules, Canon Imaging Solution, and other integrated platforms.
- Collects and documents both technical and functional details to support user requests related to PeopleSoft Financials, Supply Chain modules, Canon Imaging Solution, and associated ERP applications.
- Develops and maintains configuration guides, design documentation, and user knowledge resources.
- Conducts fit-gap analyses and suggests options for product changes and resolving issues.
- Supports system functionality through regression, patch, and user acceptance testing.
- Manages security configurations, system setups, and data structures for PeopleSoft, Canon, and other ERP systems.
- Designs and configures workflows and user groups based on business needs.
- Works collaboratively with team members to troubleshoot issues, plan application support, and resolve complex problems involving Canon, PeopleSoft Financials, Supply Chain, and related ERP systems.
- Ensures compliance with company policies, industry standards, and best practices while maintaining the ITC environment.
- Applies approved project management methodologies throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Safeguards ERP system data integrity in accordance with Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) controls and prepares documentation and reports for internal and external audits.
- Updates and maintains system support documentation, operational procedures, and user training materials.
- Participates in round-the-clock support for ERP systems
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Information Systems, with at least one (1) year of professional application administration experience, including experience in targeted high availability environments, as identified in job posting supplement, or relevant, equivalent experience and/or education.

- Demonstrates strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a sharp aptitude for resolving technical issues efficiently.
- Communicates effectively, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Brings a collaborative spirit and a constructive attitude to team efforts and cross-functional initiatives.
- Performs well in dynamic, high-pressure environments and remains flexible to work extended hours when required.
- Understands and applies Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) controls in support of audit-related activities.
- Experienced in using ticketing systems for managing change requests and tracking support issues.
- Possesses hands-on experience with ERP platforms or has previously managed system/server administration tasks aligned with the role’s responsibilities.
- Has a solid grasp of Windows server environments.
- Maintains working knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and MS SQL.
- Skilled in SQL scripting for data manipulation, reporting, and process automation.
- Capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritizing work based on business objectives.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrates a strong aptitude and enthusiasm for learning new technologies as needed.
