Join a company with nearly 100 years of tradition and impact!
Since 1929, F.C. Ziegler Co. has been serving the liturgical needs of the church community with craftsmanship, care, and dedication. As a family-owned company, we are proud of our history, but also focused on the future. We’re investing in modern technology to strengthen our business operations—and you can be at the heart of this exciting transition.
We’re looking for a dedicated ERP Specialist to lead the implementation of our new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and then become the long-term in-house expert, supporting and improving the system for years to come. This is not a short-term project—it’s a permanent opportunity to grow with us while helping shape one of the most important technology transitions in our company’s history.
In this role, you’ll take ownership of the ERP journey from start to finish:
- Lead data preparation and ensure accuracy, especially for inventory and stock numbers.
- Develop and manage project plans, coordinating across departments and vendor partners.
- Oversee system configuration, data migration, testing, and go-live activities.
- Document processes and decisions while preparing the team for change.
- Support a smooth launch with strong problem-solving under tight timelines.
- Serve as the go-to ERP expert for all business functions (Finance, Operations, Sales, Inventory, and more).
- Provide day-to-day user support and training for staff at all technical levels.
- Create and maintain system documentation, training materials, and process guides.
- Identify opportunities for optimization, automation, and workflow improvements.
- Manage reporting needs, security access, and vendor relationships.
- Champion data integrity and system best practices.
As our Maine operations adopt the new ERP, you’ll collaborate with a second ERP Specialist, forming a coequal team supporting the company together.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, or related field—or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience leading ERP implementations or supporting business systems long-term.
- Strong skills in data analysis, cleansing, and migration (inventory/stock experience a plus).
- Understanding of ERP modules (Finance, Inventory, Order Management).
- Excellent organizational, documentation, and communication skills.
- A supportive, patient approach to training and troubleshooting.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and confidence making decisions that affect multiple teams.
- Experience with cloud ERP systems (Acumatica is a plus).
- Background in retail, distribution, or manufacturing.
- Knowledge of SQL, BI tools, or integrating ERP with related platforms (CRM, eCommerce, POS).
You’ll be based at our Tulsa, OK headquarters, with occasional travel during the Maine implementation. While ERP transitions can bring busy periods, we’re committed to planning ahead and supporting a healthy, sustainable work-life balance once the system is stabilized.
