Ergon Asphalt and Emulsions is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for the Sales and Marketing Department to support operations statewide in the Oklahoma area. The Regional Sales Manager will lead sales efforts within an assigned geographic region, developing and managing customer relationships, expanding market share, and achieving revenue and profitability goals for asphalt products. This position ensures that sales strategies are aligned with company objectives and works closely with technical, operations, and logistics teams to deliver exceptional service to customers.
Education And Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Civil Engineering, or related field. Commensurate experience will be considered in lieu of a degree - 5+ years of sales experience in the asphalt, construction materials, or related industry, with at least 2 years in a regional or territory management role
- Strong negotiation and closing skills
- Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to inform strategy.
- Knowledge of asphalt products, applications, and industry standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue, margin, and market share targets
- Manage relationships with key accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and addressing concerns proactively
- Collaborate with Area Sales Manager and internal teams to forecast demand, manage pricing strategies, and optimize supply chain performance
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, industry networking, and targeted outreach
- Track and report sales performance, market trends, and competitive activities to leadership
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and association meetings
