The Equipment Operator drives and operates oilfield cementing equipment.
· Perform pre and post-trip inspections of a commercial motor vehicle
· Operate a commercial motor vehicle to and from the job site
· Clean and perform routine maintenance on vehicles and equipment, including checking and filling fluids, pressure washing, replacing bulbs and small parts
· Operating a bulk plant cement trailer while on job site
· Completing all regulatory and company compliance paperwork – DOT Logs, Trip Sheets, Observation Cards
· Assist in rig-up and rig-down – carrying hoses (up to 75 lbs.), hammering unions together using 4 lb. hammer, climbing stairs and ladders (rig floor, pump truck operating platforms)
· Assist in running other equipment such as air compressors, trailers, boost pump trailers, filed bins, etc.
· Class A CDL (Air Brake, Tanker and HazMat endorsements); paid driving school available
· Minimum of 1 year general oilfield cementing experience preferred
· Working knowledge of high pressure pumping equipment, recirculating mixes and pneumatic bulk equipment preferred
· Ability to effectively communicate with customers, fellow employees and 3rd party vendors
· Ability to pass Functional Capacity Evaluation, DOT Physical and Pre-Employment Drug, Alcohol and Background Screen
