Key Responsibilities
•
Take direction and work independently as needed
•
Work includes bending, stooping, squatting, shoveling, raking, digging, climbing, pulling string line, operating hand and power tools, taking grade shots from a level
•
Experience with GPS will be taken into consideration
•
Ground work required as needed
•
Working conditions include heat, cold, rain, snow, mud, confined spaces
Job Requirements
•
Must have demonstrated experience in operating a dozer, excavator, backhoe, loader, and mini excavator (testing will be required)
•
Basic skills and understanding of the setup and use of a laser
•
For Pipe Crew Operators Only: 1-2 years experience in installation of storm, sanitary, water line and force main pipe
•
Must hold a valid Virginia driver’s license
•
Must be able to lift 25 lbs
