Equipment Operator

Equipment Operators are skilled in running specialized equipment for the success of the aggregate extraction process. They are trained associates who report to a supervisor or foreman. Yard Loader Operators are associates that run one or more larger front-end loaders to load material onto off-highway trucks and highway trucks. May perform various grading, digging, cleaning, and lifting assignments. Performs preventative maintenance on assigned equipment. Yard Loader Operators need little supervision for accomplishing their essential functions. Load an average of 4k a day.

Ability to work under conditions of frequent exposure to dusty conditions and the full range of weather conditions; frequently in, on, and around quarry high walls and pit; extended periods working from elevated positions or in tunnels

Pay Starts at $23.73 an hour
