The Equipment Coordinates the onshore/offshore preparation, repair, and maintenance of all IMDS (Integrity Management & Digital Solutions) inspection equipment including Rope Access as directed by the Operations Manager or Operations Coordinator depending on the area of operations.
This is a daily on-site based position within Broussard, LA, work schedules are determined by the hiring manager based on business need.
- Coordinate the implementation of all equipment technical updates.
- Maintain necessary tools and equipment required to execute equipment maintenance, inventory, and repair.
- Verify that maintenance standards comply with Oceaneering maintenance standards, manufacturer recommendations and regulatory requirements and periodic certifications.
- Assist Operations Coordinator with inventory of system components and subcomponents.
- Verifies accurate asset allocation.
- Coordinate equipment technician assignments to meet business needs.
- Assist in provision of data for equipment readiness reports, repair summaries and other reports as required.
- Participate in and ensures all technicians and subcontractors follow all Oceaneering HSE Programs.
- Assist in supervision of any subcontract personnel as required.
- Assist RSO in managing the control of radiation equipment, Sources, monitoring the movements of radiation sources, transportation. of sources, maintaining the Radiation storage pit and movement logout and log in of sources.
- Organizing storage of equipment and material for ongoing and new projects/contracts.
- Ensure the timely delivery of shipments to and from the projects as required with proper documentation.
- Address and resolve shipment and inventory issues with SCM.
- Liaise with SCM and Buyer on equipment requests.
- Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as required to support organizational objectives.
- One (1) of Inspection experience with NDT knowledge of equipment.
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- NDT Level I Certification (minimum preferred).

WORKING CONDITIONS:
This position is considered SHOP/OUTDOORS WORK which is characterized as follows.
- This position may require working in various environmental conditions, including exposure to extreme weather and temperatures, noise, and hazardous materials.
- Requires working on or near moving equipment and vibrating equipment; Able to work at heights, and near water.
- Frequently the humidity is above 90%, noise is over 85 decibels and the light are intense/glare
- Occasional exposure to open fire/flames/sparks.
- Frequent exposure to airborne dust, fumes, and gases.
- Must wear personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- The role involves standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
