Coterra is hiring an Environmental Specialist for our Susquehanna, PA office.
The Environmental Specialist for Coterra will focus on managing the water compliance and environmental stewardship efforts within our Corporate EHS. This position reports to the Environmental Manager and is located on site in our Susquehanna, Pennsylvania office. Available for call outs on weekends and some travel to remote sites is required.
+ Management of water quality complaints and resolution + Oversight of business unit pre-drill sampling program + Role as Subject Matter Expert of Coterra’s data management programs, focusing on improving and managing data collection and reporting functionality + Administration of public water supply(s) and NPDES permits associated with Coterra-owned properties + Ensuring compliance with regulatorily driven agreements
Work is typically performed indoors in an office environment; however, field visits to worksite(s) and/or third-party stakeholder locations will be necessary. Incumbents must be able to perform work which includes typing, sitting and standing and moderate physical activity. In the event the incumbent visits an operations worksite, personal protection equipment, including head protection, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety shoes, and flame resistant clothing is required. Safety rules including OSHA and DOT requirements are strictly enforced. Employees must be willing to travel, and work extended hours on short notice. Periodic travel between the District office (Susquehanna) and Regional office (in Pittsburgh) will be required.
