Location: Bartonville/ Peoria, IL

Starting Salary Range: Job Grade 22 - $59,397- $75,000

Schedule: Full-time | Monday - Friday, 6:00AM - 2:00PM (flexible)

What You'll Do:

Assist plant personnel in developing and implementing projects to maintain compliance.

Collect and record data necessary for compliance monitoring and environmental reporting.

Manage small environmental projects using internal or external personnel.

Work with outside consultants to develop compliance plans, remediation plans, and environmental construction projects.

Serve as project manager for various environmental initiatives involving contractors and consultants.

Assist in developing permit applications, environmental policies, procedures, and long-term planning.

Support personnel training, contingency planning, and compliance program implementation.

Maintain necessary environmental record-keeping systems.

Perform other engineering duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For:

Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, chemistry, environmental Sciences, or a related field.

Experience: 1-2 years of environmental engineering experience in heavy industry, preferably heavy manufacturing (preferred).

Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Windows) and strong analytical abilities.

Mindset: Safety-conscious, detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement.
