Job Summary
We are seeking an Entry level Pool Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in pool maintenance and a strong mechanical aptitude. As an entry level Pool Technician, you will work under the supervision of a Lead Pool Technician and be responsible for ensuring that pools are clean, safe, and well-maintained for our clients. This role requires hands-on work and the ability to operate various tools and equipment effectively.
Job Responsibilities
•
Perform regular pool maintenance tasks, including cleaning, chemical balancing, and equipment inspections.
•
Repair and maintain pool equipment such as pumps, filters, and heaters to ensure optimal performance.
•
Conduct thorough pool cleaning services, including vacuuming, skimming, and brushing surfaces.
•
Utilize power tools and hand tools safely and effectively for repairs and maintenance tasks.
•
Maintain accurate records of service performed on each pool, including maintenance schedules and repairs completed.
•
Communicate with clients regarding their pool needs and provide recommendations for improvements or repairs.
•
Ensure compliance with safety standards while performing all duties.
Experience
•
Previous experience in pool maintenance or as a service technician is preferred but not required.
•
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
•
Familiarity with pool cleaning techniques and equipment operation is preferred but not required.
•
Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools safely in a work environment is helpful.
•
A valid driver's license is typically required to travel between job sites.
