Machine Cell Operator - Plating Line, Entry-level

We are looking to hire a Machine Operator to run our Plating work cell.

Duties:

- Operate plating line including product checks, startup & shut down of equipment, & perform preventative maintenance on equipment

- Load & process product through bead blast machine & plating dip line

- Accurate record keeping including defective product reporting, ordering materials, & finished goods inventory

- Maintain thorough safety & housekeeping standards

- Follow all safety procedures per OSHA & company standards

- Maintain positive, professional relationships & communications with coworkers

Requirements:

- Safety focused

- Problem solving, numerical aptitude

- Blueprint reading, measuring instruments

- Bending, standing, lifting 60 lbs.

- Machine operation, manufacturing experience & Metallurgy and/or plating processes experience desired but will train the right candidate

Desired skills, experience, attributes:

- Self-starter

- Ability to work unsupervised & independently

- Boiler or similar experience may be applicable

- Complex thermal process systems experience including monitoring, running, or adjusting

Shift options:

- Weekend day shift, Friday - Sunday from 6am-6:30pm

*Minimum starting pay $18.00/hour

*Shift premium pay: $2.00/hour for 3rd shift or $3.00/hour for weekend shift
