We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level Civil Engineer with a focus on Transportation and Drainage to join our growing team. Position Summary: As an Entry Level Civil Engineer for Water Resources, you will support projects related to stormwater management, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, and drainage design. While we value prior experience, we are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates strong technical potential and eagerness to learn.
Essential Roles And Responsibilities
•Perform hydrologic and hydraulic (H&H) analyses using HEC-HMS and HEC-RAS
•Assist in the analysis and design of storm drain systems, channels, culverts, detention ponds, etc.
•Conduct storm water quality and floodplain analyses
•Support the analysis of hydraulic structures, including culverts and bridges
•Support the preparation of construction drawings, technical reports, and design documentation
•Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams including CAD technicians, engineers, and project managers
•Learn and apply GIS and design software tools to support project tasks
Future Growth Opportunities
•CAD and MicroStation skill development
•Pipeline and pump station design experience
•Advanced HEC-RAS 2D modeling and Civil 3D design work
Minimum Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
•0–3 years of relevant experience
•Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
•Strong interest in water resources, drainage, or transportation engineering
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•Ability to work independently and in a team setting
Required Software Knowledge
•HEC-RAS (steady and unsteady flow)
•ArcGIS (basic GIS analysis and map production)
