- Assist in the development of conceptual and detailed process designs
- Perform process simulations using engineering software
- Create and revise process flow diagrams (PFDs) and piping & instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs)
- Prepare and update equipment datasheets and line lists
- Assist with the sizing and specification of equipment, valves, and instrumentation
- Support in the development of control narratives and cause-and-effect diagrams
- Participate in HAZOP reviews and 3D model reviews
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams on project proposals and deliverables
- Ensure that all work complies with company standards and industry codes
- Liaise with project managers and clients as required
- Completion of a 2–3 year post-secondary diploma in mechanical, chemical, or process engineering technology
- 1–3 years of experience in an industrial, oil & gas, or process engineering environment preferred
- Proficient with engineering software such as Aspen HYSYS, AutoCAD, or similar
- Strong understanding of P&IDs, equipment design, and control systems
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Enrollment in ASET or eligibility considered an asset
