Position Summary:
We’re looking for a dynamic Engineering Supervisor to lead a team of engineers and designers while supporting both client projects and internal operations. This role balances hands-on technical work with leadership responsibilities, including project management, mentorship, and strategic planning. You’ll be involved in everything from developing engineering solutions to guiding career growth within your team.
What You’ll Do:
•Lead engineering projects and act as Engineer of Record
•Mentor, coach, and review work of engineering team members
•Provide technical guidance and problem-solving expertise
•Oversee project schedules, deliverables, and quality
•Manage team timecards, expense reports, and performance reviews
•Support recruiting, team development, and strategic business initiatives
•Collaborate on business development and client engagement
What You Bring:
•Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Civil Engineering (ABET-accredited preferred)
•6+ years of engineering experience
•Professional Engineer (PE) license required for Transmission/Substation; preferred for Distribution
•Strong communication, leadership, and technical problem-solving skills
•Experience in mentoring and developing engineering talent
Additional Skills:
•Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
•Comfortable working with diverse teams and client groups
•Skilled in written and verbal communication
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
•Primarily office-based with occasional field visits
•Requires standard physical activity (standing, walking, light lifting)
•Some exposure to outdoor conditions and electrical risk during site visits
•Vision requirements include close, distance, depth perception, and color vision
