The Opportunity:
As a Technology and Innovation Engineering student, you will have the unique opportunity to be central to one of the world’s largest Oil and Gas operator and gain valuable hands on engineering experience. This is a chance to work in a group that touches all aspects of our operation including production, optimization, recovery, and the environment. You will gain baseline engineering and business experience and exposure to new Technologies, Innovation, and Industry Consortia, working in a multidisciplinary environment. You will be exposed to all aspects of technology development and spurring innovation in a large organization. •Term length: 8 or 12 months
•Term start: September 2025
•Job location: Calgary, AB
•Shift schedule : 5 days on, 2 days off, working Monday to Friday
•Safety sensitive position: Yes
Key Accountabilities:
•Provide technical support of data analysis and assistance for the preparation of various applications
•Create reports regarding new technologies in various disciplines
•Support the Technology and Innovation team in scouting, reviewing and deploying new technologies as well as spurring collaboration among business units
•Execute small projects related to Technology and Innovation
What You Bring to The Role:
•Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's of Engineering degree program in in Chemical or Mechanical engineering preferred, all other engineering disciplines will be considered.
•Familiarity with Microsoft suite of products is considered an asset (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI)
•Have a willingness to learn and seek opportunities to grow
•Motivated and a positive attitude
•Required to be physically and mentally fit for work.
•Possess a valid Class 5 Alberta driver’s license or equivalent out of province license with a reasonably clean driver abstract.
