We are seeking a detail-oriented Engineering Scheduler to join our Project Controls team. This role is essential in planning, monitoring, and controlling engineering project schedules, ensuring projects remain on track, within scope, and aligned with cost and performance goals. The Engineering Scheduler will be a key partner in supporting execution strategies through the effective use of Primavera P6 and related tools.
Key Responsibilities:
•Develop, maintain, and update integrated engineering project schedules from concept through commissioning using Primavera P6, ensuring alignment with project milestones and execution strategies.
•Facilitate creation of Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), aligning schedule elements with cost and scope control components.
•Perform critical path and schedule risk analysis to identify potential project delays, providing mitigation strategies to project teams.
•Collaborate with project managers, engineers, procurement, and construction teams to maintain realistic and achievable project timelines.
•Conduct weekly and monthly schedule performance reviews and variance analysis to assess progress and forecast project completion.
•Support Earned Value Management (EVM) by integrating schedule data with actual cost and performance metrics.
•Develop and update resource-loaded schedules and generate manpower histograms, tracking labor availability and demand.
•Provide guidance and mentoring on scheduling logic, resource allocation, and schedule integrity to team members and stakeholders.
•Administer scheduling systems including P6 EPPM, dashboards, and interfaces like Maxavera, ensuring integration with cost and SAP data.
•Ensure adherence to internal controls and compliance with project controls processes and company policies.
Minimum Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
•Minimum 1 year of experience in project planning and scheduling.
•Proficient in Primavera P6, SAP, and advanced Excel.
•Strong communication, organization, and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
•Recognized expertise in scheduling practices.
•Experience managing multiple projects and schedules in P6 EPPM.
•Familiarity with tools such as STOx, Maxavera, and project benchmarking (IPA).
•Experience with MPMP schedule deliverables, including interactive planning and float analysis.
