Looking for an Engineering Program Manager. The Engineering Program Manager is the overall technical leader of assigned projects that is accountable and responsible for accurately delivering the technical solution of water and wastewater projects of varying complexity in accordance with customer requirements and Inframark standards. The Engineering Program Manager is the primary Inframark technical face to the internal project team and customer responsible for the viability and accuracy of the solution being provided. The Engineering Program Manager will work closely with the project manager while leading other project delivery and support resources as required to accomplish the scope on time and within budget. The Engineering Program Manager will fulfill the role of project technical lead for all assigned projects.
Technical Quality Assurance: Ensure all technical deliverables meet Inframark's quality standards and comply with industry regulations and codes.
Work with project manager and customer to receive project approval via acceptable means and approved process (i.e., P.O., contract, etc.)
A four-year engineering or electrical degree is required. Plus, a minimum of 10+ years’ experience in the automation industry and field service functions, with 5 years of experience specifically in the municipal Water & Wastewater industry. A proven track record of leadership and progressive project management responsibility is required. Excellent communications skills and the ability to build and constructively lead teams are essential.
Experience with sales and project estimation, knowledge and understanding of the National Electric Code is also required. Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, contract documents and P&ID drawings is required.
The ability to communicate orally with management and other co-workers is crucial. Regular use of the telephone and e-mail for communication is essential. Sitting for extended periods in front of a computer monitor is common. Hearing within normal ranges is necessary for communication with Field Service, other departments, and customers. Adequate vision is needed for using a computer monitor and document review.
The job is performed both indoors and outdoors at Inframark A&I office locations and at remote jobsites. Activities include extended periods of sitting and regular work at a computer monitor. This job includes the potential of working irregular hours with demands outside of normal work hours/days.
Up to 25% of travel may be required for Inframark office visits, team meetings, customer relations, Service oversight and Quality auditing.
