Responsibilities:
· Lead a team of engineers to improve performance metrics by developing new processes and review existing processes to improve system efficiency and reduce downtime.
· Develop measurements and KPI’s to drive the team performance on contractual deliverables.
· Predict future issues via data analytics and trends.
· Deep dive analysis to identify the root cause of faults and performance improvement recommendations of underperforming systems.
· Review system specifications and recommend engineering or manufacturing changes to achieve asset performance goals.
· Work with SCADA EPC teams on finalizing hardware requirements.
· Training of field techs and control room Operators.
· To coordinate with internal/external teams on major technical upgrades/issues.
· Participating in Technical Due Diligences to review the proposed change plans and lead the projects by analyzing the remediation plans.
· Providing expertise on variety of issues regarding system configuration and maintenance of facilities
· Work on special/performance improvement projects (Analyzer installations, Sensors Recalibration, Shadding analysis, Soiling / Curtailment loss calculations, IV curve data review etc.)
· Inverters optimization analysis by verifying control set points, parameters, etc.
· Oversee Root Cause Analysis execution, employing established processes like 8D, to identify and implement short and long-term solutions
· Creating procedures for new hardware remote troubleshooting
