The Engineering Intern will provide entry-level support to the Pipeline Integrity Team. Engineering Interns will work with Pipeline Integrity Engineers, Corrosion Specialists, Pipeline Design Engineers, and Operations Personnel on a regular basis. Students will gain an understanding of pipeline integrity engineering and the programs and processes in place to ensure safe and reliable operations of DT Midstream Pipelines. Additionally, monitoring the asset integrity of the pipelines, and learning compliance requirements associated with Integrity Management Plan (IMP) are key learning points. Responsibilities include planning asset inspections, developing plans/scopes of work, assisting with inspections/assessments, analyzing data, and maintaining databases. Students are expected to have a basic understanding of engineering concepts to help analyze data, solve problems, and assist with system performance.
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:
•Undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in an accredited four-year college or university pursuing a degree in Engineering. Students will no longer be eligible to hold an internship position upon graduation from their program unless accepted into another degree program.
•Graduating high school seniors who have been accepted to begin college in the fall are eligible to apply if they will be at least 18 years old before their start date. A college acceptance letter must be provided.
•Minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA is required.
•College students will be asked to provide an official transcript as proof of eligibility before receiving an offer of employment.

Other Requirements:
•Some assignments will require driving. This position will require students to have a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record
•Must live within a commutable distance from the office
•Proficiency in computer applications applicable to the specific work field/discipline including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
•Effective communication skills, both oral and written
•Effective time management and a personal commitment to work
Preferred Requirements:
•Completion of some engineering coursework
•Knowledge of the energy industry or oil and gas operations
•Work experience in the energy, oil and gas, or petrochemical industries
