The Engineering Improvement Leader is responsible for promoting and leading the implementation of improved engineering practices, from product definition through project execution. This role will be based in Wilmington, NC and will be responsible for working with employees and teams to identify and evaluate problems, manage change and drive impact using industry best practices and tools. The leader will be results-driven with a strong, proven ability to partner cross-functionally both within Engineering and across other functions.
Success in this role looks like: The role is part of the GE Hitachi Nuclear Engineering organization and will report to the Executive Engineering Manager. They will be accountable for engineering program excellence by collaborating with senior leaders and project teams on the implementation and sustainment of continuous improvements of critical business processes. Their goals are to; drive change with a specific emphasis on enabling best-in-class products with respect to safety and quality; engage teams to meet delivery of customer commitments; empower problem-solving; and leverage technology to achieve product leadership through development projects. They are responsible for participating in and improving the quality of the GEH Nuclear transformation community, growing the capacity of Leaders Driving Transformation.

As the Engineering Improvement Leader, you will:
The base pay range for this position is $148,000-209,000. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for bonuses, such as a performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity. This position is expected to close on 4/25/2025.
