Position Description:The ENGINEERING ASSISTANT is involved in the engineering and administration of projects, in the Special Projects Division (SPD) or in other Business Unit departments.Reports To:Project Engineer or Engineer

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Position Description: The FIELD ENGINEER position will be assigned to the field operations team & will assist in obtaining, evaluating, & coordinating all information needed to construct the project in accordance with the contract documents & to assure that the work meets all safety standard, is within schedule requirements, & is constructed to the highest level of quality possible. The Field Engineer in the performance of its duties shall be responsible for the protection & promotion of the interest of Turner & all matters. Reports To: Project Superintendent or Superintendent

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Note: Depending on business need and location, you may be assigned to work at an active construction project site in one of our many specialties or in a department located at the main office.

Qualifications:Two years of college education from accredited degree program in Engineering, Construction, or relevant education. Building construction, engineering, or equivalent experience preferred. Must have good interpersonal skills, desire to learn, ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing, proficient with computer applications as required to perform responsibilities. A basic understanding of scheduling programs preferred.
