Expected salary range of $144,900 to $161,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).
Primary Purpose Of Position
This fleet position provides oversight and guidance for all stations in the execution of the needed actions to maintain compliance with all code and regulatory requirements for safety related valves. This position will provide programmatic oversight in support of each of the site engineers located at each Constellation Facility. While this position will focus on Safety Relief and Check Valves, there will be opportunities for backup to the fleet Air Operated Valve (AOV ) program owner.
Primary Duties And Accountabilities•Technical lead for the fleet with respect to application of valve equipment reliability.
•Provides governance and oversight of fleet program implementation.
•Administration of corporate procedures.
•Fleet representative for industry IST working groups and ASME code meetings
•Provides engineering/technical expertise and guidance in the identification, analysis and resolution of problems of increasing scope and complexity in both inside as well as outside the scope of typical responsibility.
•Ensures accomplishment of business goals and objectives through effective planning, organizing, estimating, scheduling and monitoring of work activities; decisions may affect the operations or results of the work group and may have some impact on major projects or department results.
•Prepares thorough and accurate technical reports, correspondence, documentation, calculations and sketches related to defined problems and analysis of increasing scope and complexity.
•Conducts engineering and related studies; completes non-routine engineering projects with minimal oversight with the ability to independently manage project schedules and interfaces; competent to design, operate and maintain systems with moderate impact on existing systems.
•Possesses and applies the fundamental concepts, practices and procedures; proficient in technical and analytical competencies necessary to handle assignments of increasing complexity.
•Develops positive working relationships to effectively coordinate work activities internal and external to Constellation. Demonstrates effective oral and written communication skills. Maintains accurate records and files.
•Supports the company's goals and represents the company positively and professionally.
•Effectively communicates with all levels of management in a professional manner.
•Willingness to accept new responsibilities and be eager to learn new concepts and technologies in support of company initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications
•Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical or Nuclear) with 10 years of engineering experience
•Demonstrated technical leadership experience (e.g. Duty team lead, inspection lead), teamwork and leadership attributes
•Maintain minimum access requirements or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties
Preferred Qualifications
•Professional Engineer Registration
•Advanced technical degree or coursework
•VALVE experience HIGHLY Preferred
