Summary of Position:
The Engineer Sr., Asset Development will be accountable for facilitating sanction and operational scheduling for delivery assurance, budgeting, and forecasting. This position carries a profound responsibility for driving optimal economic outcomes.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
•Lead business goals and objectives, setting, tracking and communicating key performance metrics.
•Create forecasting/budgeting model and deliver robust budget and forecast outputs (Production, Capital, GPT, and LOE), integrate with Finance, and manage inputs from across the organization.
•Provide input and preparation for monthly, quarterly, and annual executive, investor, and analyst reviews.
•Implement and manage detailed scheduling tool, process, and accountability from development sanction through execution.
•Ensure the development of sanctioned locations that support business goals and operational performance strengths.
•Administer and drive long term master inventory, drill, and completion schedule.
•Help drive accountability and results to ensure no delays and minimal sanction and execution issues.
•Identify and ensure key development and execution risks are addressed. Address and resolve root causes, strive for continuous improvement.
•Forecast development plans in line with permitting and project readiness expectations.
•Manage the monthly forecasting process, collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure the schedule and model are accurate.
•Assure work performed adheres to CIVI standards.
•Assist other teams within the Asset Development organization as required.
•Attend onsite field meetings as necessary.

Education & Experience:
•Proficiency in Enersight a plus.
•Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related Engineering degree. Master’s degree a plus.
•8+ years’ experience of relevant oil and gas experience with an emphasis on asset development planning and driving and executing project development.
•History of leading and driving collaboration with a large multi-functioning team.
•Proficient in Microsoft 360 products (Outlook, Excel, Word).
Travel & Additional Requirements:
•Location: Work is performed at a CIVI location Monday through Thursday with the option of working remotely on Fridays.
•Schedule: traditional 40-hour workweek or alternative schedule of 9-hour workdays Monday through Thursday and 4-hour workdays on Friday, as business needs allow and with manager approval.
•Travel may be required to other Civitas offices and field locations.

Base Pay Range: $165,000 - $190,000
